Gregory R. Rush, Partner. Greg Rush is a co-founder of Dunn Rush & Co., and is responsible for business development, transaction execution and firm operations. Mr. Rush has deep experience with various types of transactions across a range of industries, including consumer, industrial, manufacturing, media, retail, business services, technology, communications and defense. Prior to Dunn Rush & Co., he served as Managing Director for Citi Capital Strategies, Citigroup’s middle market investment banking platform, where he established a Boston office in 2007. Previously Mr. Rush spent more than eight years in investment banking with Tucker Anthony Incorporated and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, where he was responsible for the origination and execution of corporate finance assignments for both publicly traded and privately held middle-market companies. His experience includes advising on merger and acquisition transactions, public offerings, fairness opinions, and private placements of equity and debt.

Previously, Mr. Rush also was the Chief Operating Officer of Community Newspaper Company, a cluster of more than 100 newspapers and specialty publications in the Boston region that was owned by his family’s business, Herald Media, Inc. Community Newspaper Company was acquired by newly-formed GateHouse Media, Inc., where he continued to serve as Chief Operating Officer of GateHouse Media New England through a period of rapid growth that included numerous acquisitions and the Company’s Initial Public Offering. While at Community Newspaper Company and GateHouse, Mr. Rush was responsible for driving revenue, controlling costs, and identifying and implementing growth strategies such as acquisitions and new product launches.

Mr. Rush currently and has previously served on a number of non-profit and industry association boards. Mr. Rush received a B.A. in economics from Dartmouth College and is a Registered Securities Representative (Series 7, 63, 79, 99) and a Series 24 Registered Securities Principal.

Rudi Scheiber-Kurtz, MBA, is a serial entrepreneur and innovative thinker. Over the course of her career, she founded three companies, including Next Stage Solutions, Inc., a finance consulting firm specializing in finance leadership.

Rudi is a thought leader and frequent speaker on topics of growth, optimization and scalability. She created the acclaimed RudiTuesday webisode series which addresses typical challenges for midmarket CEOs and is the mastermind behind the Live CEO Case Studies program.

Rudi is the author of “Stop Compromising: The CEOs Guide to Building Value through Smarter Finance” a masterful outline of forward-thinking, strategic finance as a value creation tool and providing the reader with operationally-driven modules and vital hands-on tools.

Active on various boards, Rudi offers her expertise on boards of private companies.  She formed an Advisory Board for the Simmons Entrepreneurship Program of venture capitalists and business leaders. She is a longstanding member of the Business Advisory Council at Simmons School of Management.

Rudi is currently president of XPX New England, an organization for professional advisors and business owners and a member of the Finance Committee of First Parish in Concord, MA.

She holds a BS from Lesley University and an MBA from the Simmons School of Management. Rudi was raised in Switzerland and holds a dual citizenship. She speaks several languages.

Jack Gates serves as a Wealth Insurance Advisor for Rockland Trust Company, providing Advanced Planning Strategies and Insurance Advisory Services for high net worth clients, corporate executives, multi-generational families, and business owners. Jack focuses on areas such as, Estate and Legacy Planning, Business Succession Planning, Buy/Sell Agreements, Charitable and Family Gifting, Executive Benefits, and Supplemental Retirement Planning. With over 29 years of experience in the financial services industry, Jack has been providing financial advisors, family offices, CPAs, attorneys, and banks innovative solutions to the complex needs of their affluent families and business owner clients. His unique background combines his experiences working with Northwestern Mutual Life for 16 years as an agent and “player coach,” both managing agents and personally producing; 7 years as founder of P&C LifePlans, Inc., an independent insurance brokerage firm; and most recently with Highland Capital Brokerage, working with institutional financial advisors and their key accounts to create tailored wealth transfer and estate liquidity programs. Jack lives in Scituate, Massachusetts, with his wife, Lisa, and their four children, Owen, Julia, Harry, and Henry. Jack enjoys being involved in his community, having been past President of Little League, selected to the Scituate Economic Development Commission, a member of School Council, and a youth sports coach.
